For a game about Miis, Miitopia is surprisingly meaty in content. His leitmotif is even a Dark Reprise of the Great Sage theme to show how unsettling the situation is. The Great Sage getting taken over by the Dark Curse, turning them into the even more powerful Darker Lord. It doesnt push the 3DS graphical limitations, but it is pleasing to the eye. The sky gets dark and has an unnerving wave effect in it while off kilter music that sounds like moaning plays giving a disturbed feeling. There is no inch of Miitopia that isnt swelling in big bold colours, and the areas to explore feel rich and vibrant.
